Fashion footwear retail brand has tapped into global trends with a vengeance this winter, channelling the vogue for military attire with its upcoming ranges.

Tough military and combat styling will be teamed with on trend embellishments such as studding and buckle straps designed to be worn with jeans and leather jackets by women looking for a more hard edged style this winter.

In men's styles the military shape has been worked into boots led by two key men's styles; Military and Mission. Boots feature heavy thick sole, buckles, tough zips and eyelets, designed for wear with cuffed jeans or pants tucked into the boot leg.

The styles are releasing as Windsor Smith prepares to showcase its forward ranges at Melbourne's upcoming Australian Shoe Fair, taking place from 29-31 August at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.

A spokesperson for the brand confirmed Windsor Smith would capitalise on its presence at the fair to "sell some of our great new styles, whilst promoting our quality brand on a large scale."
