Windsor Smith has announced plans to harness girl power with its first range of footwear for chicks.
Launching this month, Windsor Smith women's shoes would reflect the menswear brand's handwriting with a feminine touch, confirmed designer Natasha Harry.
"The Windsor Smith woman is fresh, modern and sexy and we have mirrored that through our women's range, with leather uppers, Italian soles and quality finishes" she said.
Recommended to retail at between $120 and $180 for shoes and $240 and $300 for boots, the range would start small and expand gradually each season.
Windsor Smith women's will launch - alongside seasonal collections of Windsor Smith's Lipstik women's brand, its standard men's collection and European footwear ranges - at a new flagship store in Highpoint shopping centre, Melbourne.
"Highpoint is one of Melbourne's premium centres," a spokesperson commented. "We've had the strongest following for 25 years on our men's Windsor Smith. Now it's time for their wives, girlfriends and partners to be part of the action."
The Highpoint store opening will take place on Tuesday July 28, followed by promotions throughout the centre from Thursday July 30 Friday to Saturday August 1.
