Men's style at shoe fair

10 November 2010

Bringing an air of distinction to men's shoes, footwear company McHugh's Shoes will be showcasing two leading brands at the Australian Shoe Fair in Sydney.

"Bernard offers classic men's fashion that fits well, is reasonably priced and features all leather construction," confirmed company owner Rod McHugh. "We support our customers by providing back up stock on most of our lines."

"Also we will have the ‘Bartalesi Made in Italy' range [pictured], featuring the latest fashion styling from Europe at retail prices from $200 to $2,000. Again many of these shoes are backed with stock so we give good support to our retailers."

With new ranges planned for launch at the event, the Australian Shoe Fair was also an ideal forum to cement McHugh's profile, McHugh said.

"The fair gives us exposure and improves our reputation as a strong supplier to the industry," he said, adding the company planned to broaden its customer base and drive sales through the event.

McHugh's Shoes is an Australian, family-run business and was established as a brand in 1911. With 100 years of combined experience and fitting expertise, the company boasts a strong reputation as a leader in comfort and style.

"With excellent workmanship a priority, we stand behind everything we sell. At McHugh's Shoes, we keep our prices down without sacrificing quality."

With the majority of Bernard Shoes made in Italy in the manufacturing district of Montecatini near Florence; and in India, in Kanpur, the company also makes a small selection of broader fittings in Australia at its Marrickville factory.

McHugh's Shoes will showcase its offer at the Australian Shoe Fair from 11-13 February 2011 at Sydney Exhibition Centre.

I have the Bernard - best shoes I've ever had. Had the heels re-done cheaply but the uppers still have plenty of life left in them after a couple of years of pretty much daily use. I do take care of them with shoe trees and polish.

Have your say
